TRICODA Open in Solomons Island Benefiting Hospice of St. Mary's

. At that time, according to TRICODA President, Robbie Tejchman, “This was the best turnout we have had for the TRICODA Open!” When asked about this year, Tejchman commented, “We have quite a feat to beat last year, but that’s our goal!”

Hospice Board Member Cindy Beakes stated upon receiving last year’s check, that the TRICODA organization has been helping to fund Hospice of St. Mary’s for a while and “to-date they have contributed over $22,000 to Hospice. It is a great help.”

According to Tejchman, TRICODA enjoys giving back to the community and feels proud to be able to contribute money to Hospice of St. Mary’s.

The American Darts Organization (ADO), the governing body for steel-tip darts in the United States, averages 200 clubs with 50,000 members nationwide. The ADO maintains a ranking system of individual’s participation/performance in “singles” events and national qualifiers.

The typical organization may have a handful of ranked player’s, however, in the final ADO poll for 2012, the tri-county area boasts 25 nationally ranked members! Congratulations to all players for representing the area well and best wishes in 2013.
